Haven and I had our daily adventure today. We decided to attempt to make rainbow cake.

Not that bad for an awesome adventure and the cake besides its wacky colors tasted good as well.

i just drove up and down the same street five times in the past hour (actually this was half an hour ago so between 4:30 and 5:30)...and not because i just needed something to do...i actually had to.
crazy.
lol.

on another point...today we had a half day for midterms. it was so pointless. we watched Save the Last Dance in gym and then I had my creative writing midterm where I had to read something then write a monologue. but tomorrow i have 3 midterms. lame.

I'm So Nervous

On Thursday is the writing portion of the application for North Point. Or at least I think it's on Thursday. My friend who's also applying for biotech says it is. *freakin' out!*

7 degrees here in essex county.

We're learning about Romanesque art in AP Art History right now...so that means lots of churches and illuminated manuscripts. Today we made our own pages for a book that will be a midterm study guide (so something like an illumniated art history bible? ha.). Each person had a letter or a number.

We did this activity like monks/nuns...complete with candlelight, Gregorian chants, and silence. People who talked too much got tape put over their mouths.

more admissions decisions

I got into UMaine Orono, College of Arts and Sciences. and i recieved a $40,000 scholarship over 4 years (the Presidential Scholar merit award). and an invitation to the Honors College. I like this letter of admission better than the one I got from Rutgers because it includes a short (3 sentence) handwritten note at the bottom the letter from the director of admissions. It makes you feel more like they actually care...
Ooh! And I got a window decal!

7Day Count Down

I have applied to the 3 out of six colleges i need to apply to that the due date is JANUARY 15th. I have applied to all the free to apply to ones (mich Tech, Drexel, rpi)

Goal of the week is to complete applications and complete application to honors college for UMBC because my parents want me to.

Scholarship update:
Got a scholarship to WPI for the tune of 19.4K a year not enough to probably cover the needs of an expensive school but its something.
